Lady Gaga Brings Her Shocking Style To Consumer Electronics Show

When word spread that Lady Gaga would be at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Thursday (January 7) to discuss her partnership with Polaroid as the new creative director for a specialty line of products, many wondered: What would the pop star wear? In true Gaga fashion, her outfit definitely stood out.
Gaga's hair was the true centerpiece of the ensemble — which included a see-through black dress and sunglasses — with her blond locks (or a matching hairpiece) styled to resemble a wide-brim straw hat, similar to the oversize hats women wear to the Kentucky Derby.
The singer spoke to the crowd at the CES Polaroid event about why she got involved with the company. "Well, I'm definitely a Polaroid camera girl," she said. "I really believe in the lifestyle and injecting the things that I love into [this]. ... For me, what I'm really excited about is bringing back the artistry and the nature of Polaroid."
Later in the day, with Timbaland by her side, Gaga arrived to help promote the new red version of her Heartbeat headphones. Proceeds will go to Bono's RED campaign. "There will be a red Heartbeat that will also be packaged with an acoustic version of 'Poker Face,' " the singer announced, adding, "We really appreciate you little monsters."
In a statement released earlier about her work with Polaroid, Gaga said, "I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor of specialty projects. The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation — blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era — and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand. Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and to — as my father puts it — finally have a real job."
